The Dodge City A's and
Southwest Sports are working together this summer to provide team camps for
local youth baseball/softball teams.
Youth teams will receive quality instruction from the A's players and
coaches.
The camps are
three hours in length and the kids will learn more in-depth fundamentals and
drills in all areas of the game. These
areas include throwing, fielding, pitching, hitting and base running. The camper will use what they were taught in
a scrimmage at the end of the camp. These
drills and fundamentals can also be beneficial to the youth team coaches. Youth coaches can utilize the drills and
fundamentals taught at the camp in future practices.
